Needs:
Client is an NGO with an urge to understand and analyze the impacts of developments particularly
in the context of liberalized trade regimes, tourism and development issues with women, child,
ecosystem, communities and globalization. They endorse justice, equity, people centered and movement
centered activism, democratization and dialogue as their core values.
They needed subject oriented and customized designs for their books, both for the cover and inside.
Challenges:
Deep understanding of subject is a must for this kind of projects. We had to spend quite a long time for this.
Solutions:
This book talks about minors and adolescents in tourism. For this project we made an illustration
of a boy and a girl as the theme of the publication. The bold lines provided a down-to-earth
effect on the illustration. Consciously we avoided mid tones to put a viewer in front of the naked
truth - where there are no shades between two colors. The activities of the two figures clearly
depicted the place of local minors in tourism - which is seen by all of us, but probably ignored
every single time.
