ab TACO MobiApps Telematics Limited : Interactive Training Manual

Needs:
TMT or TACO MobiApps Telematics is a joint venture of two titans and they launched a product - a GPS tracking device for fleet management. The robust product and complex back end support is ideal for Indian roads and conditions. They required a training kit for the users and in house support team for trako.

Challenges:
A product is developed in 3 years and needs a fast marketing and support. The whole subject is very technical, complex and huge, and the support team has to learn an online application through offline training kit.

Solutions:
A flash presentation was made with five major sections -
  ab Introduction
  ab Business Case & Technology Overview
  ab trako Overview
  ab Installation and
  ab Web Admin & Troubleshooting
The UI was made with strategic nodes, ideal for training. With other materials we used cartoons for Business Cases, Technical diagrams and animations for Technology Overview, animation on real photographs of trucks, buses and SUVs to show the real life installation, a lot of screenshots with mouse movement simulation for web admin and a stepwise comprehensive troubleshooting lesson was made separately.
We shoot the devices, accessories and tools. We went to the bus stations and truck terminals to shoot several types of vehicles from different angles for different purposes and interviewed the drivers, fleet managers and owners. Their pain points were reflected in the training program. We found some threats and highlighted them properly with analysis.
The whole presentation was of 6 hours with interactivity, fun, knowledge and proper commentary.
