 IAL / RSBT : Corporate CD, Interactive Product Catalog
Needs:
An ISO 9002 and QS 9000 company manufacturing high precision machine components for OEMs wanted
an interactive CD ROM carrying corporate information, and an elaborated product catalogue. They
wanted to make the product catalogue part filled with technical information, but they never wanted
it to be a sheet of drab measurements and data. They wanted a flexible design scheme, which can
be customized to create a unique design for each of their units and sister concerns. They wanted
the overall look of the presentation should give the viewer, a feeling of the steady infrastructure
they have. |

Challenges:
How to create a visual that would draw viewer's attention as well as sympathy quickly? How to make
that visual talk about the real-life works SICHREM is doing? How to keep the possibilities open
for accommodating more information at later stage? |

Solutions:
How to express steady infrastructure of a large machine shop? How to make it easily customizable
for different units? How to make a data dependant content like product information of machine
components, interesting?
We created different color schemes and layouts for each of their units, exclusive to that particular
unit, but having strongly recognizable visual similarities with other presentations. For their product
catalogue, we used a montage of audio-visuals and VRML and interactive 3D models, to make the loads
of information more interesting and easily accessible.
